Importance of Basic Livelihood Security and Resolution Fund Training
The Basic Livelihood Security System is a social security system designed to guarantee a basic standard of living for those facing economic hardship. Through this system, Cheongyang County provides living expenses, medical expenses, and housing expenses to county residents with income below the minimum cost of living. The Resolution Fund is designed to support county residents who are experiencing difficulties due to sudden disasters or illnesses. This fund contributes to strengthening the social safety net by providing rapid assistance to those in urgent situations.
This training aims to re-emphasize the importance of the Basic Livelihood Security System and the Resolution Fund, and to help officials correctly understand and operate the system. In particular, it supports officials in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their duties by providing the latest information on complex laws and regulations, and the changing social welfare environment.
Efforts to Provide Customized Welfare Services
Cheongyang County is committed to providing customized welfare services to meet the diverse welfare needs of its residents. To this end, township and district welfare officers play a role in identifying the individual circumstances of local residents and linking them to appropriate welfare services. This training supports these officers in strengthening their capabilities to provide more effective customized welfare services.
Cheongyang County is also making various efforts to identify those in welfare blind spots. Township and district welfare officers cooperate with various institutions and organizations in the local community to find and support those in need. This training is expected to strengthen this cooperative system and contribute to eliminating welfare blind spots.
